A few times throughout the year, the RBA hosts a CEO luncheon with a guest who speaks on topical issues of interest. The Association has attracted a host of key personalities to these meetings to date including Rt Hon. Bill English Prime Minister, Hon. Steven Joyce, Hon. Andrew Little, MP Paula Bennett, Auckland Mayor Len Brown, Auckland Council CEO, Doug McKay, The Warehouse CEO Mark Powell, Phil O’Reilly CEO of NZ Business and Andrew Thorburn Managing Director of the Bank of New Zealand, to name just some of the latest guests. The RBA places considerable value on developing and maintaining these local and central government contacts. The CEO luncheons provide an opportunity to form a voice to local and central government and as well as an opportunity to talk one-on-one with our speakers and fellow CEOs.

In this election year, Andrew Little will be setting out his vision for New Zealand’s future, talking about the fresh approach his government will bring to the main issues facing New Zealand in 2017 and beyond.
He’ll outline Labour’s comprehensive plan to start tackling the housing crisis, as well as the other challenges Kiwis face resulting from nine years of National’s perceived neglect, including the lack of infrastructure investment in our cities and plans for development and jobs in the regions. Andrew will also set out how Labour will embrace the new economy and the future of work, and help support businesses to thrive.
