ABOUT RBA
Membership
Rosebank BID membership: If your business operates within the Rosebank Business Improvement District Plan (July 2005) you are automatically a member of the Rosebank BID (Business Improvement District). If you pay rates to Auckland City Council, you will notice on the rates demand the "Rosebank Separate Rate". The Separate Rate is collected by Auckland City and passed to the RBA via quarterly grants. This is a fair and equitable method of providing funds for the RBA to represent all Rosebank businesses on advocacy, security, grafitti and other local body issues.

RBA Benefits
NEW NETWORKS
Business to Business Networks provide savings through preferred supplier agreements on telecommunications, freight and other key sectors. Additionally the RBA is well served to provide network and contact information on job placement/appointment and leasing of offices/warehouses.
ROSEBANK BUSINESS DIRECTORY
RBA membership entitles you to special rates on your own half page and full page full colour listing/advertisement, by category.
IMPROVED SECURITY & GRAFFITI
RBA members enjoy better security. Icon Security Group has increased patrols with reduced response times and provide daily reports on both security and graffiti activities.
MEMBERS HOSTINGS
From the first meeting, which had an excellent response, a decision was made to form an executive which had as it's beginning a broad base across many of the industries in the area. Regular "hosting" meetings began in October 2002, the first held courtesy of Mark Darrah of Reliance Transport. Here in a convivial environment, members can come together, bring a guest if they wish, and discuss what is happening in the area. Host companies over a drink and a bite to eat have an opportunity to explain what their business is and strong alliances are formed. The average number attending these regular meetings is 70 people. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and mingle and members are constantly surprised how the very article or service they needed is available just round the corner. The RBA has conducted more than 40 of these events in a largely unchanged format representing truly a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" policy. For sponsorship opportunities or invitations, please contact Mike Gibson at gibo@rba.org.nz
BREAKFAST WORKSHOPS
As an extra service to all Rosebank businesses we offer a series of Breakfast Workshops covering matters of interest such as Debt Collection, Brand Imaging, Industrial Law, Sales, Taxation, Recruitment and we have established a joint venture with Waitakere Enterprise to utilise some of their presenting staff and guest speakers. Usually these workshops, held at the West End Rowing Club, are bi-monthly and run from 7.30am to 9.15am with a current cost of $30.00 and are targeted as to how we can up-skill our middle management to make a difference in our organisations. They have been very well received and we welcome suggestions for further sessions that would particularly interest your business.
