Janet Schofield is Business Area Planning Manager for Auckland Council (November 2010 – Present). In this role, she is manager of Business Improvement District (BID) programmes in the Auckland region; project leader for Business Precinct Plans, such as the Tamaki Innovation Precinct; and provides economic development advice for area spatial planning, the Unitary Plan and local economic development strategy.

Prior to this role, Janet was Business Development Area Manager for Auckland City Council since 2001.
